The Hairydog approach

We are an unashamedly small company. We are not keen on taking over the world, or becoming a huge corporation.

Where appropriate, we can draw on the resources of our network of associates with allied specialisms, but we do not take on work that we can't tackle.

No sales team?

We prefer not to put much effort into selling our services, but instead to offer good value, good service and fair treatment to our customers.

Although we are willing to give a fixed price for a job, we prefer to give an honest estimate, and charge for the work actually done. Our estimates are not kept artificially low to get an order: we like to play fair.

Getting it right, reliably

Taking a pride in delivering what is wanted on time and to budget is a central part of our approach, but it goes further than that: we want to exceed our customers' expectations, and deliver consistently good quality.

This is not just a matter of writing well, but also making a good job of the design, organisation and development of what we do, and having dependable systems in place to support us. This allows us to concentrate on the task in hand.

We have been writing, designing and producing publications for decades.

As user documentation moved from printed manuals towards on-line material, we were there, continuing to develop user-friendly, effective documentation for computer software, quality systems, corporate systems, entertainment events and far more.
